Quinny Yezz Review
Quinny Yezz Review
It’s one of the funkiest looking ultra-lightweight travel strollers on the city scene; with its bright eye-catching colours and quirky design it’s ideal for any parent on the go. Introducing the Quinny Yezz.
Suitable from 6 months upwards, the seat is designed to swing in the way that a hammock would. This makes it extremely comfortable and perfect for naps as moulds to your child’s body shape. The material itself is dirt and water resistant so any spills are easily wiped away, perfect for messy kids! There is a 5-point safety harness that is adjustable from behind the seat unit itself, which is great for any size child.
There’s a pocket on the back of the seat which can hold up to 2 kg, perfect for any parent that’s on the go and needing to take a few essentials with them. The footwell is also a great feature for this little travel stroller because not every brand offers one quite so large (most are just a bar) so we really liked the fact that our child’s legs were supported at the back; especially handy for when they’re legs aren’t quite long enough to reach the bottom.
The seat is the colourful part of this stroller and is simply clipped on and off it wanting to either change the colour or wash. It fits securely and tightly around the clips so you’ll be sure when it’s correctly installed.
Now this is where the Quinny Yezz really comes into its element. Its fold is so small that we couldn’t quite believe it! With a kick of the frame upwards and a push of a button in the handle bar it simply folds into the tiniest parcel you’ve ever seen. We love it! And with an auto-lock, it’ll never get any bigger! It’s perfect for car boots not matter how small, and is made from extremely strong IXEF high performance plastic (to us that basically means it’s been extra sturdy-ied out) so you know it’ll never brake. We still can’t quite get over just how quick and easy it is to fold.
And if that wasn’t enough, Quinny has given the Yezz a shoulder strap enabling you to easily carry it wherever you might be. It switches from pushing to carrying within blinks of the eye, it’s great! Even when packing it away, its small size is helped by the fact that it has a standing fold. Excellent for storing, anywhere!
The lightweight material of the seat makes the buggy a wonder to push. Weighing in at only 5kg (that’s the equivalent size of an average domestic cat!) it simply glides across the ground even with an older child inside. The skater-like wheels are great for manoeuvring around town and simply absorb the terrain beneath them. The front wheels swivel around 360 degrees which makes corners and kerbs that little bit easier.
The brakes on the Quinny Yezz are a simple tap-on, tap-off procedure. With one wheel having the stop pedal and the other having the go. It’s great as they are both colour coded so you’ll be sure to never get them mixed up and ideal for anyone new to pushing the stroller.
The ergonomic handle bar is comfy to push and it feels like you could simply push the Quinny Yezz with one finger.
There is a sun canopy that covers the child in the buggy, and it even matches the colour of the seat! We thought that this touch as great as it was integrated with the seat material itself – also meaning it’s made of wipe clean material too!
It’s the only accessory you’d ever need for this lightweight stroller. A Raincover (from £24.95) comes in extremely handy when out and about and will fit nicely into the back storage pocket when not in use.
